Two Hurt In Restaurant Explosion

An explosion has occurred at a restaurant off the main street of Ballinspittle, between Bandon and Cork city, at about 11am this morning.

Reports suggest that two people have been injured.

Gardai, Cork fire brigade and the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) ambulances are currently at the scene, with an initial investigation suggesting that a gas cylinder might have caused the explosion.
