Garda Seek Four Men Over Armed Post Office Robbery

Gardaí are seeking four men in connection with an armed robbery of a post office in County Kerry.

Two men, one carrying a pistol and the other a baseball bat, entered the Tarbet Post Office at about 16:00 on Tuesday and threatened staff while a third man stood blocking the door. There were no customers in the post office at the time.

Garda said the men demanded money and made off with a "small amount of cash".

They believe the men may still be in the general area and are appealing for anyone who was in the Tarbert area from about 15.45 to 16.15 or on the Glin Road that noticed anything suspicious, to contact Listowel Gardai on 068-50820.
