Appeal Following Shooting Incident In Dublin
An appeal for information has been launched by gardaí following a shooting incident in Islandbridge, Dublin, at the weekend.
The incident happened around 6.55pm on Saturday (1 November), at a car park next to Islandbridge Court Apartments and Bellevue Apartments.
According to gardaí, initial reports suggest that a red Honda Civic car drove into another vehicle, a silver BMW. The two men in the Honda Civic exited the car and ran after the driver, 35, of the silver BMW. They fired a number of shots at the man, but he fled into Bellevue Apartments. He was not injured.
One of the gunmen has been described as being 5' 8" and was wearing a grey jacket and blue jeans. No details are available on the second suspect.
No arrests have been made.

Man Arrested In Connection With Dublin Shooting Incident
Gardaí investigating a shooting incident outside a west Dublin school have made an arrest. A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested during the course of the search operation in Corduff. He has been detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939, where he can be held for up to 72 hours.

Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Dublin on Tuesday night. At approximately 11.30pm Gardai received a report of a firearm been discharged at a house on Inverness Road in Fairview. On arrival it was discovered that a shot had been fired at an upstairs bedroom window.

He is currently in a critical but stable condition in hospital. The man is currently being detained at Henry Street Garda Station.
