Man Killed In Cork Road Crash
Gardaí in Co Cork have reported the death of a man in a collision on the main road to Killarney.
It is understood that a car collided with a truck at about 6am this morning.
Garda have not confirmed any details of the victim.
The road at Four Mile Bridge between Lissarda and Macroom is likely to remain closed for several hours, as garda road traffic collision investigators examine the scene.
Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Four Men Dead In Separate Collisions
A total of four men have died in a spate of separate car collisions over the weekend. In the most recent incident, a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck towing a trailer, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s. The collision which occurred at Cloghnadromin, Ballysimon, CoLimerick at approx 1.30pm on Sunday.

Four Killed On Irish Roads This Weekend
A number of separate road crashes this weekend have claimed four lives, including a father and son. John Gallagher, 55, and his 24-year-old son Sean died when their car collided with another vehicle at Burt on Saturday morning. The collision occurred at the junction of Slab Road, Burt, on the Main Letterkenny to Derry Road at approximately 10.

Two people have been killed in a road traffic collision in Co Cork yesterday, 05 April. The incident happened at around 5:10pm on the N20 Cork to Limerick Road one mile outside Mallow. The occupants of one car, a male and female both in their 70's, were killed in the collision.

Witness Appeal Following Fatal Road Traffic Collision In Co Longford
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Co Longford on Sunday, 17 July. An 18-year-old male was fatally injured when the car he was travelling in, as a front seat passenger, collided with a tractor at approximately 11.50pm in Cloonart, Bornacoola. The man was pronounced dead at Mullingar Hospital.
