Man Arrested Following Guns Discovery
A man has been arrested following the discovery of two guns in Dublin on Thursday evening.
According to Gardaí, the man, aged 36, was searched by officers at Newlands Road, Lucan, at around 6.30pm. He was found to have two handguns and a small amount of cocaine.
He was arrested and is currently being held at Ronanstown Garda Station.
He can be detained for up to 72 hours.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

A man in his twenties has been arrested following the discovery of a cannabis factory in a house in Co. Leitrim. The rented house in Cloone village in the Carrick-on-Shannon area was raided on Tuesday night and a large quantity of cannabis plants were discovered upstairs.

Barrel Body Named
Gardai have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a mans body in a barrel in a field in County Clare. The man has been identified as 21-year-old Eoin Ryan. He was found around 7am on Tuesday in Cappaghbeg, five miles from Ennis. Gardai confirmed Mr Ryan died from head injuries as a result of an extremely violent assault.

Cannabis with an estimated value of €33,000 has been seized during a planned operation at an address in the Neilstown area or Dublin. A man, said to be in his 20s, was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the discovery of a growhouse, which contained a number of plans and the cultivated drug.
