Man Arrested In Stabbing Incident
Gardaí investigating a fatal stabbing incident in Dublin have made an arrest.
On Sunday (17 August), David Sheridan, 45, suffered serious injuries in the incident which occurred at North Strand in the city. He was transferred to the Mater Misericordise University Hospital but later died from his injuries.
Gardaí have confirmed a 63-year-old man has since been arrested in Dublin. He is being detained at Mountjoy Garda Station.

A man has been injured in a crash outside Athlone. The single vehicle incident happened at approximately 6.50am this morning at Ballynahown. The drivers injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Gardai in Athlone are appealing to anyone with information to contact them on 090 649-8-550.

Arrest Over Stabbing Of Woman
A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Dublin where a women was left with severe wounds to her face. Gardaí at Mountjoy investigating the assault on the woman in her 30s on St Anne’s Road, Drumcondra, Dublin, have this morning arrested a 39-year-old man in relation to the incident.

Two Men Arrested Over Dublin Shooting Incident
Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Dublin on Tuesday night. At approximately 11.30pm Gardai received a report of a firearm been discharged at a house on Inverness Road in Fairview. On arrival it was discovered that a shot had been fired at an upstairs bedroom window.

Teenager Arrested Over Firearm Incident In Dublin
A teenager has been arrested in connection with a disturbance in Dublin. Gardaí were called to reports of a disturbance, involving a teenager with a firearm, at a house in Kilmainham at around 9.30am on Saturday, 13 August. The teenager had left the scene when garda arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
