Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Crash Near Ballyshannon
Garda in Co Donegal have reported the death of a woman in a single vehicle road crash in Cloghore, near Ballyshannon.
It is understood that the woman, aged in her 70s, was travelling alone when her car hit a ditch at about 22:20 on Thursday.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí have asked for witnesses to contact Ballyshannon Garda Station on 071-9858530, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800-666-111 or any garda station.

A man has been arrested in connection with a suspect hit-and-run in Co Fermanagh. Patrick McCaffrey was killed on the Tullychurry Road at around 3am on Sunday. The man arrested has been taken to Ballyshannon Garda Station for questioning after he was detained by officers in Co Donegal.

An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
