Gardaí Appeal For Anyone At Duncannon Beach To Contact Them
Gardaí have appealed for anyone who was in the area of Duncannon beach between the hours of 18:30 and 20:00 on Wednesday to contact them.
It is part of an investigation into the death of a man in, what has only been described as "an incident".
Garda are trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the man's death, who is understood to have been pulled from the sea.
He was taken to Wexford General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact New Ross Garda station on (051) 426030, The Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the death of a man in Dublin last week. Bernard Larkin was found dead last Friday, 12 September, at his home at Richmond Cottages, Dublin 3. Gardaí have issued a fresh appeal for help locating an 18-year-old from Dublin. Dylan Keogh was last seen in the Clontarf area on Friday 11 January 2019. He is missing from his home in Glasnevin and both his family and local Gardaí are growing increasingly concerned.

A 25-year-old man was discovered with a serious injury at Shanakiel, Dunmore East at about 3.40am this morning, 26 July. The man was treated at the scene by emergency services before being taken to University Hospital Waterford.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal accident in Hospital, Co Limerick, in which a 44-year-old man was killed. The man was walking on Main Street in the town at about 2am on Tuesday morning when he was hit by a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It is understood no one else was injured in the incident.
