Drugs Worth Over €6m Seized By Garda

Drugs with an estimated street value of €6.3m have been seized in two separate raids in Dublin and Drogheda.

Gardaí seized heroin worth an estimated €4.05m when they stopped and searched an articulated lorry on the M1 near Drogheda, Co Louth on Thursday night. Three people have been arrested in connection with the find.

And cocaine with an estimated street value of €2.24m was recovered during a search of a house in Donnybrook.

Two men have arrested and are being held at Blackrock Garda Station.

A house in Drogheda was searched following an early search of a car stopped in Dublin on Friday night. A cannabis cultivation operation was uncovered, estimated to have a potential street value of around €600,000.

Men Arrested And Drugs Seized In Inner City Raids
Two men have been arrested and drugs seized during a planned search of a property in Dublin's inner city on Tuesday morning. Gardaí said that the search was part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs. During a search at Oliver Bond House, heroin with an estimated street value of €90,000 was seized.

Police Target Drug Trade Across Ireland
Gardaí investigating the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Cork area have seized drugs with an estimated value of up to €590,000 and arrested a male following a planned operation on Monday. A similar operation took place along the border with the North as well.

Firearm And Cannabis Seized In Dublin
An AK47 assault rifle and cannabis with an estimated street value of 4,000 euros have been seized in a raid in Dublin. A man in his twenties was arrested during the raid, which took place shortly after 9am on Wednesday at the house in Gloucester Place in the centre of the city.
