7kg Cannabis Seized In Dublin

Gardai have seized 7kg of cannabis after they carried out a search on a car in Dublin on Monday.

It has an estimated street value of €140,000.

Members of the Crime Source Unit at Mountjoy Garda station discovered the drugs in the vehicle at Belvedere Avenue.

The car has been seized, however no arrests were made.

Cannabis Seized During Raid In Wexford
Gardai have seized herbal cannabis following a raid on a house in Wexford. It is estimated to have a street value of €45,000. A number of plants were found during the search of a property in Lee Heights on Thursday. No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.

Cannabis Seized In Co Kildare
Gardaí in Co Kildare have seized cannabis worth an estimated €800,000. The find was made during a planned search of a house in Crossmorris on Monday. Officers seized 40kg of cannabis herb in the search. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the find.

Cannabis Seized In Dublin
Cannabis with an estimated street value of €1.5 billion as been seized during raids in Dublin. It is understood that 40 kilos of cannabis was discovered by officers from the Garda National Drugs Unit in a car, which was stopped near Chapelizod on Tuesday evening. The driver of the car, believed to be a 25-year-old Irish man, was arrested.

Arrest As €100k Cannabis Seized In Co Sligo
A man is under arrest over the discovery of suspected cannabis worth an estimated €100,000 in Sligo. Gardaí uncovered the drugs, along with a sum of cash, during a search of a property in Ballymote on Thursday evening, 16 January. A male in his 30s was arrested and remains in custody at Ballymote Garda Station.

Two Arrested Over Dublin Drugs Find
Gardai in Dublin last night seized cannabis resin with a street value of 250,000 euro. The drugs were found on Kylemore Road in Ballyfermot, Dublin at around 7.30pm last night. The raid was part of a Gardai operation called ‘Operation Anvil’ and two men were arrested at the scene.
