Girl Attacked By Dog In Limerick
A six-year-old girl has been attacked by a dog in Limerick.
The victim was playing near her home in Lynwood Park on Thursday evening when the attack happened.
The child has injuries to her face and body and is currently recovering in hospital.
The dog has been put down.
Gardai are currently investigating the incident.

An investigation has been launched after a man was seriously attacked in County Limerick on Monday. The incident occurred in Newcastle West at around 2.15am. The man suffered a serious head injury and is currently being treated in hospital. Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Man Attacked In Co Louth Pub
A man has been attacked in a pub in Dundalk. The victim, in his 60s, received serious head injuries following the assault at a bar on the Castletown Road last Friday night. He is currently in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, where his injuries are serious. Gardai are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for information following the alleged rape of a woman in Dublin in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, 11 December. According to garda a woman went to a south Dublin garda station to report begin attacked sometime between midnight and 2am this morning.
