Man Arrested After Body Found In Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a 58-year-old man in connection with the find of a woman's body on Saturday.

According to Garda the body of a woman, thought to be aged in her 50s, was found at a house in Woodlawn park Grove, Firhouse, by emergency services at about 13:30.

A post-mortem is to be carried out at Tallaght Hospital.

A man was detained by garda this morning and is being held at Rathfarnham Garda Station.

Missing Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 24-year-old man has been found "safe and well". Alex Sherwin had been reported missing on Sunday, with garda issuing a public appeal for assistance. No information on Mr Sherwin's whereabouts have been released, but garda said the investigation had now ended. They thanked the public for their help.

Two Arrested Over Aidan Myers Murder
Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Aidan Myers, gardaí have confirmed. Mr Myers, 37, was killed by a gang who had attempted to hijack the car in which he was a passenger in Faughart, Co. Louth on December 12, 2006. He died after being attacked by a machete.
