Two Males Arrested Following Armed Robbery

Two males have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a chemist in Dublin.

Two men, believed to have been armed with handguns, entered the premises at approximately 8.30pm on Tuesday night.

Two members of staff were threatened, and one received minor injuries.

The robbers took a watch from one of the staff members and fled the scene.

A 22 and 23-year-old were arrested close by and are being detained at Coolock and Swords Garda stations.

Two Arrested Over Waterford Armed Robbery
Gardaí have made two arrests in connection with an armed robbery in Waterford on Thursday night. According to gardaí, a man entered a shop at around 11.55pm and produced a handgun, where he then threatened staff and demanded cash. Staff at the shop managed to raise the alarm and the man fled, making his escape in a waiting dark-coloured car.

Thieves travelling with an ATM stolen from Co Louth travelled across the border this morning while being pursued by Gardaí. The culprits were intercepted on Dunleer Main Street at around 4.30am this morning, Wednesday 15 January, by patrolling members of the Garda Armed Support unit.

Two Arrested Following Armed Robbery In Clontarf
Two men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Clontarf early on Thursday morning. Two armed men entered a shop on Stiles Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3, at about 07:45, demanding money from a female staff member. Garda tracked two men to a nearby building, where they recovered a firearm and a sum of money.

€100,000 In Drugs Found After Shooting
An investigation by Garda following a shooting incident in Limerick has recovered heroin and cocaine with an estimated street value of €100,000, as well as firearms. Two men are also being held under section 30 of the offences against the state act.

Investigation Launched Into Armed Robbery In Co Meath
An investigation has been launched following an armed robbery at a shop in Kildalkey, Co Meath At approximately 17:45 on Thursday, two males entered a shop armed with a hand gun and an iron bar. They threatened staff and removed an amount of cash before leaving the store. It is understood they were driven from the scene in a waiting car.
