Woman Dies After Car Rolls Over Her
A woman has died in a accidents in Co Clare after her car reversed into her knocking her to the ground.
It is understood that the woman was putting shopping in the boot of the car on Francis Street in Ennis at about 13:30 when it rolled backwards, knocking her to the ground. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to garda the victims grandson was in the car when the incident happened. He was uninjured but was treated in hospital for shock.
Gardaí in Ennis have appeal for any witnesses to the incident in the area of Aldi and Tesco to contact them on 065 6848100.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin
An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

An 85-year-old woman who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run incident in Co Cork has died in hospital. The woman was struck by a car on the N25 in Castlemartyr village, just after 7am on Tuesday. Gardaí said that the car, described as small and dark-coloured, failed to stop. The driver is being sought.
