Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Accident In Co Kildare
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal accident in Co Kildare in which a 60-year-old woman died after being hit by a car.
Gardaí said the woman was struck by a car at about 17:45 on Wednesday in Moyvalley.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place at Naas General Hospital.
It is understood the driver of the car was not injured in the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Leixlip Garda Station, or to call the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111.

Appeal Issued Over Serious Road Accident
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses following a road traffic collision at Annesley Bridge Road, Dublin 3. A woman in her 20s was hit by a car at Annesley Bridge Road shortly before 06:45am on Monday. The woman remains in a serious condition in Beaumont Hospital. The driver of the car involved in the incident was not injured.

Gardaí in Co Wexford have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road accident on the N25 at Kilmacree. A woman in her 20s was killed when her car collided with another vehicle at about 12:25 on Sunday. The male driver and female passenger in the other car, both in their 50s, were seriously injured and were also taken to Wexford General Hospital.
