Finglas Death - Men Released Without Charge

Two men arrested over the death of a 29-year-old man in Finglas have been released without charge.

The men were detained by Gardaí investigating the discovery of a body at Spring Mount Apartments, Wellmount Road in Finglas.

The men, both aged in their 20s, were arrested on the evening of 11 January in Finglas.

At approximately 11:00 on 11 January, Gardaí received a call in relation to the discovery of a body in suspicious circumstances at the Spring Mount Apartments.

On arrival Gardaí found the body of a 29-year-old man in the bedroom of a ground floor apartment.

The scene was immediately sealed off for examination and the offices of the State Pathologist notified.

State Pathologist Dr. Marie Cassidy visited the scene and conducted a preliminary examination. A post mortem is currently underway.

Gardaí have said a party had occurred at the property the night before the discovery of the body and have appealed to anyone who may have been at the apartment on the night in question between 20:00 and 07:00 the next morning to come forward.

Gardaí also want to speak to any taxi drivers who may have collected passengers from the property.

Body Found In Limerick
Gardaí in Co. Limerick have launched an investigation after the body of a man was found at a recycling plant. The plant in Luddenmore, Grange was cordoned off following the discovery, shortly after midday, and the State Pathologist has been contacted. According to reports, the body was found in a skip.

Investigation Launched After Body Found In Carlow
The body of a woman has been found in a house in Carlow. Gardaí say that the body of a 37-year-old woman was discovered at a house in the Craigcullen area of Carlow at about 21:45 on Sunday. The body remains at the scene to allow for a forensic examination. The identity of the woman has not yet been released.

Investigation Launched Into Galway Body Find
Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.
