Four Arrested Over Limerick Carjacking

Four people have been arrested after a man was forced off the motorway at Dooradoyle and robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday.

A man in his 30s was forced off the southbound land of the M20 at around 1.40am.

The victim was treated at Limerick Regional Hospital for his injuries, however he has now been released. A sum of money was also taken during the attack.

Three suspects remain in custody and one has been released.

Woman Released Without Charge Over Donegal Murder
A woman arrested in connection with the murder of Seamus Donnelly has been released without charge. Mr Doherty was killed at his home in Drumacanoo on 17 June 2012. The woman, 57, was released this morning. A man, 51, who was arrested on Wednesday is still being questioned by garda.

Two Arrested In Connection With Aggravated Burglary In Terenure
A 24-year-old woman and 27-year-old man have been arrested in connection with an aggravated burglary in Terenure on Wednesday, 13 December. At approximately 2am two masked people gained entry to a house by smashing a downstairs window and threatened the male occupant.

Man Arrested Over Fatal House Fire Released Without Charge
A man arrested in connection with a fatal house fire in Dublin has been released without charge. A 44-year-old man died in the blaze which happened at a property on Oakland's Terrace, Rathgar, at around 3am on Tuesday, 21 August. It is understood the man had escaped from the fire before returning inside and suffered critical injuries.
