Man Admits Hit-And-Run That Killed Fourteen-Year-Old

A 32-year-old man has pleaded guilty to careless driving in a hit and run incident in which a teenage boy was killed.

14-year-old Conor Kickey, of St Attracta Road, Cabra, was hit by a car, which then failed to stop, in Cabra on the evening of 2 December 2011.

He died in hospital the following day.

Ruadhan Tracey, with an address at Lagore Green, Dunshaughlin, Co Meath, pleaded guilty to careless driving causing death at the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court today.

Tracey was remanded in custody for sentencing next March.

Pearse McAuley Jailed For Stabbing Ex Wife
