Aer Lingus Management and Cabin Crew Re-enter Talks

Talks have resumed at the Labour Relations Commission between cabin crew and Aer Lingus management in an effort to resolve a dispute over the threatened closure of the Shannon cabin crew base.

Talks were adjourned on Tuesday and while nothing was revealed, it is understood that some progress had been made.

As talks got underway again today the IMPACT union renewed their warning of industrial action, and possible legal action, should Aer Lingus proceeded with its threat to outsource work and breach the contracts of staff.

Talks are expected to continue over the coming days.
