Talks Stall Between Aer Lingus And Union
Talks between management and a trade union at Aer Lingus have broken down, with both sides accusing the other of "not being prepared to negotiate".
IMPACT members of the airline's cabin crew are involved in a dispute over work rosters, and have already staged one day of strike action.
Talks where due to begin between union representatives of the cabin crew and management at the company.
However, it is understood that both sides have accused the other of "stalling" the talks.
According to reports the airline has said that they have met the demands of cabin crew and had been left "perplexed" by IMPACT saying talks had collapsed.

Translink Workers Reject Pay Offer
Translink NI workers have rejected a pay offer from the public transport company. Unite, GMB and SIPTU confirmed that their members has "decisively voted to reject as inadequate" a pay offer made by Translink management. Workers were offered a 5% pay increase and a non-consolidated one-off payment of £1,500 for the 2023-2024 financial year.

New measures designed to tackle MOT waiting lists have been announced by Infrastructure Minister John O'Dowd. Speaking in the Assembly on Monday, 11 March, Mr O'Dowd said he will explore the introduction of temporary exemption certificates and proposals to consult on testing every two years.

Talks have resumed between unions representing cabin crew and Aer Lingus management in a dispute over a more structured work roster. Cabin crew want a roster similar to one in place for pilots, which would see them work for five days and then be off for three.
