Man Dies In Limerick Stabbing
A man has died following a stabbing in Limerick in the early hours of Sunday morning.
At approximately 02:00 Gardai were called to the apartment in relation to reports that a male in his 60s had been stabbed.
The male was brought to University Hospital Limerick where he was later pronounced dead.
It has been revealed that the victim was originally from Dublin.
Gardai wish to appeal for witnesses or to anyone who can assist with the investigation to contact them at Henry Street Garda Station on 061-212400, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

A man has taken to hospital after being stabbed in Co Wexford. The male, 34, was stabbed at a house on Grange Road at around 9.30pm on Thursday night. His condition is described as serious but stable. Gardai have arrested a 60-year-old man. He is currently being detained at New Ross Garda station.

An investigation has launched after a man was stabbed to death in Balgaddy, Dublin, on Wednesday, 07 February. Gardai were called to the scene at Buirg an Rí Walk in Balgaddy, Lucan just after 10:20pm. They found a 52-year-old man with serious stab wounds and he was pronounced dead a short time later. A post-mortem is to be carried out.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and is being detained at Finglas Garda Station. A post-mortem is to be carried out later today.
