Man Dies Following Stabbing Incident In Dublin

An investigation has launched after a man was stabbed to death in Balgaddy, Dublin, on Wednesday, 07 February.

Gardai were called to the scene at Buirg an Rí Walk in Balgaddy, Lucan just after 10:20pm.

They found a 52-year-old man with serious stab wounds and he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A post-mortem is to be carried out.

A teenager has been arrested and is currently being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash
A man has been killed in a collision in Galway. The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road. The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Motorcyclist Killed In Carlow Collision
A man has been killed in a collision in Co Carlow. At approximately 3pm on Tuesday afternoon, the man, aged 24, was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving was involved in a collision with a motor car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
