Body Uncovered In Repossessed Apartment

The sheriffs office and garda officers discovered the body of a woman yesterday afternoon after they entered an apartment that was being repossessed.

According to reports, the discovery was made at the Longboat Quay apartment off Sir John Rogerson's Quay in Dublin at around midday on Monday.

It is understood the owner of the apartment had made an agreement with the sheriff's office to vacate the fourth floor property, and that there had been communications between both parties last Friday.

However, when the sheriff's team gained access to the apartment, they found the body of the woman.

It is not yet known how the flat and the body of the woman are connected.

The investigation continues.
