Man Held Over Fatal Stabbing
Gardaí investigating the fatal stabbing of a 32-year-old man in Tallaght, Dublin, have arrested a man who was at the scene of the suspected murder.
It is understood that father-of-one James Humphries was fatally stabbed after a row broke out at a house in Kilaton Way at around 18:40 on Sunday evening.
A man, believed to be in his 30s, was arrested at the scene last night, he can be detained for up to 24 hours.
Gardaí have said that a number of people were in the house watching the All-Ireland football final at the time of the stabbing and have appealed for anyone who was there to contact them.
A motive for the attack is still trying to be established.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man Arrested Following Fatal Stabbing
A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in Dublin on Monday. Shane O'Connor was found on the street in Donaghmede at around 7am. He later died in hospital. A man is his 20s is being held at Coolock garda station.

Gardai are appealing for information after a 22-year-old was fatally stabbed in Dublin on Monday morning. Shane O'Connor was discovered lying unconscious on St Donagh's Road in Donaghmede at around 7am yesterday. He died in hospital from his injuries. It is believed Mr O'Connor may have been lying injured for a number of hours.
