Two Arrested Over Robbery Of Cheques Worth €1.1m
Two men have been arrested in Dublin in connection with the theft of cheques with a value of €1.1 million.
It is understood that as a man used a night safe at a bank in Tallaght just after a midnight two men robbed him of the document bag he was about to lodge.
Gardaí say that it is thought on of the men was armed with a firearm and the second man had a hammer.
However, following a gardaí search two men, believed to be in the 20s and local, were arrested and the document bag recovered.

Men Arrested Over €1m Cocaine And Heroin Find
Heroin and cocaine, with an estimated street value of €1m, has been recovered in a house search in Ballyfermot on Tuesday. Gardaí arrested two men, aged in their 30s, at the scene after officers uncovered 13kgs of cocaine worth an estimated €900,000 and 1.5kgs of heroin, with an estimated value of €225,000.

Three In Court Following Tipperary Attack
Three of the five men arrested in relation to the shooting and stabbing of two men in Tipperary yesterday are appearing in Roscrea District Court this Thursday morning.
