New 'Dirty Protest' Sees Soiled Nappy's Sent To Ministers

Soiled nappies are reportedly being sent to ministers at Lenister House in what is thought to be a 'dirty protest'.

According to the Irish Independent, while the packages are addressed directly to ministers they are not reaching the intended recipients.

The packages are being intercepted by security scanners in the Oireachtas and are being dumped in the bin.

10 such packages, each containing a soiled nappy, arrived on Tuesday, with a security source telling the Irish Independent that staff are not particularly bothered by the practice, with security measure filtering out the packages.

It is not however known what the nappy's are being sent in protest over.
