Two Women Hospitalised After Consuming Cannabis

Gardai have issued a warning after two women are believed to be in a life-threatening condition in hospital after consuming cannabis.

It is believed the cannabis may have been contaminated.

Both women, in their 20s, are in the intensive care unit of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

Gardai raided two houses in Co Louth yesterday and drugs were seized. They are currently being tested as it is believed they are linked to the inquiry.

Men Arrested Over Santry Cannabis Seizure
Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.

Cannabis Found In Wooded Area In Co Cavan
Cannabis worth an estimated €100,000 has been uncovered in a wooded area in Co Cavan. Gardaí confirmed they made the discovery on Tuesday at Drumgill. No one has been arrested in connection with the find, gardaí have said, adding that the investigation is ongoing.
