Man Injured In Shooting

A man in his 30s has been injured in a shooting in Galsnevin.

RTÉ have reported that the man is thought to have been outside a gym on the Ballyboggan Road when he was shoot four times on Wednesday morning.

It is understood that the victim is a father-of-three who is known to garda and had been warned that his life was in danger.

According to RTÉ he is a known associate of the jailed cash-in-transit raiders, Alan and Wayne Bradley, and the murdered criminal gang leader Eamon Dunne, and had survived a previous attempt on his life 18 months ago in Dublin when a gunman fired seven shots at him.

Former Politician Arrested Over Alleged Murder Conspiracy
A former Co Cork politician has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. It is understood garda detectives were acting on information when they arrested the as-yet-unidentified man near Cork city on Friday morning. Two Held Over Attempted Shooting Attack Released
Two men arrested in connection with an attempted shooting attack in Dublin have been released without charge. The incident occurred at a car park next to the Islandbridge Court Apartments on 1 November. A Honda Civic rammed another car at the scene. Two occupants in the car then ran after the driver of the other vehicle and fired a number of shots.

Teenager And Young Child Injured In Alleged Shooting In West Dublin
An investigation has been launched into an alleged shooting incident in West Dublin. According to reports, a teenager and a young child have been injured in an incident that gardaí have said is "ongoing" in the Parlickstown area of Blanchardstown. The area has been sealed off and gardaí are at the scene. Further updates to follow.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
