77-Year-Old Dies In Co Limerick Crash
A 77-year-old man has died in hospital following a two vehicle collision in Co Limerick.
The man died at the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick overnight.
He was the driver of one of two vehicles involved in a collision on the Old Dublin Road at Lisnagry at about 2.20pm yesterday.
Another man (75), who was travelling with the deceased, also sustained serious injuries. He is being treated at the Mid Western Regional Hospital.
A third man (48), who was driving the second vehicle, received what gardaí described as “non-life threatening” injuries.
Gardaí have carried out an examination of the crash scene and anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Henry Street Garda Station on (061) 212400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

Body Confirmed As Missing Galway Man
Gardaí have confirmed they have found the body of missing Galway man Adrian Folan. Mr Folan had been missing since last Thursday, when he was last seen in Athlone. Gardaí say that a body found in a disused quarry near the village of Liscannor in north Clare is that of Mr Folan, and that the death is being treated as suspicious.

Man Dies In Tipperary Collision
A man, aged in his 70s, has died in a collision in Tipperary. He was killed after the car he was driving collided with another car in Borrisokane on Sunday, 05 June, at around 5.15pm. The woman in the other car sustained serious injuries and is currently being treated at Limerick University Hospital.

Gardaí in Co Tipperary have reported the death of a 19-year-old man in a road accident. According to gardaí the man, whose name has not been released, was killed in a single vehicle collision on the Fethard/Killenaule road after 8am. There was nobody else in the car at the time. An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.

A bone was found on Thursday, 22 September, on the Shannon riverbank at Doonass, Clonlara, on the Clare-Limerick border.
