Road Crash Death In Limerick
A 24-year-old man has been killed in a traffic accident in Co Limerick.
The man was killed when his car hit a wall around 6km outside Abbeyfeale at 16:00 on 20 December.
He was the only occupant of the car, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was removed to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital, Limerick.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone with information to contact Abbeyfeale Garda Station on 068-30010, the Garda Confidential line on 1800-666111, or any garda station.

Coroner Calls For Official Record Of Suicide Verdicts
Inquest verdicts of suicide should be officially recorded to help gather real statistics, the coroner for west Limerick has said. Currently, a coroner can only recommend a verdict of death in accordance with the medial evidence as given by a pathologist, west Limerick coroner and Senior Counsel Brendan Nix added.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

Body Confirmed As Missing Galway Man
Gardaí have confirmed they have found the body of missing Galway man Adrian Folan. Mr Folan had been missing since last Thursday, when he was last seen in Athlone. Gardaí say that a body found in a disused quarry near the village of Liscannor in north Clare is that of Mr Folan, and that the death is being treated as suspicious.

Human remains found in Galway Bay on 29 November have been confirmed as those of missing Limerick woman, Maria Hennigar. The 35-year-old was reported missing on 22 November, although she had not been seen earlier that month.

A bone was found on Thursday, 22 September, on the Shannon riverbank at Doonass, Clonlara, on the Clare-Limerick border. Gardaí were called to the scene and are understood to have examined and photographed the scene before the bone was removed.
