Man Arrested In Relation To The Murder Of Darren Falsey

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Darren Falsey, 36, in Carrigaline, Co Cork on 3rd August last year.

The man, in his late 20s, is being detained at Togher Garda station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.

Mr Falsey was shot at the front door of his home at Ashbourne Court on Ferney Road.

Gardai Investigate Suspicious Death In Carrigaline
An investigation has been launched into the circumstances of a suspicious death in County Cork. On Wednesday the body of 36-year-old Darren Falsey was discovered in a house at Ashbourne Court, Carrigaline around 3pm. It is believed he received gunshot injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three Men Arrested In Connection With Darren Cogan Murder
Three people are in custody in connection with the murder of Darren Cogan. Mr Cogan, 22, was shot dead in a bar on Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, two years ago. A man entered the premises on his own and fired a number of shots. Mr Cogan was fatally shot and his pal, who he was drinking with at the time, was also injured in the attack.

Third Man arrested in Cork Killing
Gardaí in Cork have arrested a third man in their investigation into the murder of suspected drug dealer Darren Falsey in August. The man in his 20s was arrested by heavily armed detectives in Carrigaline at around 8am this morning. He is being held at the Bridewell Garda station in Cork city.

Time Running Out For Murder Probe Gardaí
The police in Cork have only a few more days in which to question three men over the murder of a suspected drug dealer in Cork in August. Father of two Darren Falsey (36) was shot dead when he answered a knock at the front door of his home in Ashbourne Court, Ferney Road, Carrigaline, on August 3rd.

Two Released in Darren McKeown Murder Investigation
The two people arrested on Tuesday morning in connection with the murder of Darren McKeown in Drogheda, Co. Louth, have been released. It is understood that the man and the woman, both aged 19, were released on Tuesday night.
