Three Men Arrested In Connection With Darren Cogan Murder
Three people are in custody in connection with the murder of Darren Cogan.
Mr Cogan, 22, was shot dead in a bar on Tyrconnell Road, Inchicore, two years ago.
A man entered the premises on his own and fired a number of shots.
Mr Cogan was fatally shot and his pal, who he was drinking with at the time, was also injured in the attack.
Two people were arrested in the Dublin area on Wednesday morning and a third man was arrested on Thursday morning.
The men are being detained at Kilmainham and Kevin Street Garda stations.

Woman Released In Longford Murder Investigation
The woman being held by Gardaí in connection with the death of Sharon Coughlan, has been released without charge. Gardaí in Co Longford arrested three people yesterday. Two men, aged 19 and 28, were still in custody this morning. It is understood their period of detention has been extended.

Man Arrested Over €400,000 Cannabis Find
Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Former Politician Arrested Over Alleged Murder Conspiracy
A former Co Cork politician has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. It is understood garda detectives were acting on information when they arrested the as-yet-unidentified man near Cork city on Friday morning. He is being held and questioned at a garda station in Cork and can be detained for up to a week.
