Bankrupt Developers Home Goes On The Market

Bankrupt developer Tom McFeely's home has been put up for sale by Colliers International.

Follwoing yesterday's High Court ruling, the property has an asking price of €3 million.

The house, at 2 Ailesbury Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin, is 'viewing by appointment only'.

The two-storey house at the Ballsbridge end of Ailesbury Road has five bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a breakfast room, a study, a dining room, a drawing room, a family room and several bathrooms.

The house is described as having period features, timber floors, cast-iron fireplaces decorative cornicing and French doors.

The Priory Hall builder has debts in excess of €200m.

PSNI Investigating Fatal Collision Near Bready, Co Tyrone
An investigation has been launched following a fatal road traffic collision near Bready, Co Tyrone. At around 1.40pm on Sunday, 07 April, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on the Victoria Road. When police arrived it was discovered that a white Seat Leon had left the carriageway close to the junction with Grangefoyle Road.

Dublin Hotel Evacuated Following Blaze
Guests at Bewley’s Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin, were evacuated on Monday night after a fire broke out in the laundry room area. Four fire engines attended attended the scene on Simmonscourt Road and the fire was brought under control around midnight. No guests or staff reported any injuries.

Live Grenade Thrown Into Front Room Of House
Gardaí have said they are concerned about a criminal gang having access to live grenades following an attack on a house in north Dublin shortly after midnight yesterday. A viable grenade was thrown through the front window of a house at Cloonlara Road in Finglas but failed to explode.

Children Affected By Vapour Leak At University Swimming Pool
Six children are being kept under observation in hospital following a chemical vapour incident at a university swimming pool in Co Kildare. According to reports 25 children were using the swimming pool at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth at around 10.30am.
