Man Seriously Injured In Road Accident
A pensioner remains in a serious condition in hospital after he was hit by a vehicle in Waterford City yesterday.
The 81-year-old man was struck by a 4a4 vehicle on the Cork Road at approximately 2.30pm.
He is believed to be in a serious condition in Waterford Regional Hospital.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

An investigation has been launched after a man was found seriously injured in Dublin on Thursday night. Gardaí have said that the man, who is in his mid-40s, was found at around 21:25 on Tyrconnell Road in Inchicore, Dublin 8. He is being treated at St James Hospital and his condition is described as critical.
