Galway Road Re-Opens Following Fatal Crash

Gardai have confirmed the Maam Cross to Galway road has now reopened at Ballinahown, after a fatal crash occurred overnight.

A male pedestrian in his 60s was killed after he was hit by a car.

Witnesses are being asked to contact gardai in Salthill.

Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Crash
A man has been killed in a collision in Galway. The car crash happened at around 2.45am this morning on the Headford to Galway Road. The 31-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Renewed Appeal After Fatal Road Crash In Kildare
Gardai are renewing their appeal for witnesses after a man died in a fatal road crash in Co Kildare. The man, aged in his 50s, was killed after his motorcycle collided with a Isuzu 4x4 on the R445 at around 2.15pm on Friday, 17 August. He was pronounced dead at Naas General Hospital. The man in the other vehicle was also taken to hospital.

Gardai Appeal Following Fatal Crash In Dublin
Gardaí are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Dublin. The incident occurred at approximately 2:40am yesterday, 03 January. It is understood two women in their 40's were seriously injured when they were struck by a car on Hartstown Road. Both victims were taken to hospital.

Gardai Investigate Fatal Crash On N24
Two cars were involved in a head on collision on Monday night around 22:40 on the N24 near Bansha, Co. Tipperary. The drivers of both cars, a female in her 20s and a male also in his 20s, were both fatally injured in the accident. The passengers in the females car, two males in their late teens, were taken by ambulance to Clonmel Hospital.
