Gardai Appeal Following Fatal Crash In Dublin
Gardaí are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Dublin.
The incident occurred at approximately 2:40am yesterday, 03 January.
It is understood two women in their 40's were seriously injured when they were struck by a car on Hartstown Road.
Both victims were taken to hospital. One woman was pronounced later pronounced dead while the second remains in a serious condition.
The occupants of the car, three men in their 20s, were uninjured in the collision
The driver of the car was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving.
He was later charged and will appear in court later this month.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses due to the circumstances of the colission.
Enquiries are continuing.

A man has died in a road collision in County Kerry. The man, 51, was killed after his 4x4 vehicle collided with a signpost in Listowel at approximately 8.40pm on Monday night. He was taken to Kerry General Hospital but was later pronounced dead. The road has been closed and diversions have been put in place.
