Arrest Made In €60,000 Cannabis Seizure
A man was being questioned by Gardaí in Cork last night following the seizure of drugs worth a suspected €60,000 in a house near Blarney, Co Cork.
The man, understood to be in his early 30s, was arrested when gardaí searched the house and found 3kg of cannabis herb.
The man was arrested and brought to Gurranebraher Garda station for questioning about the drugs find.
He was arrested under drug trafficking legislation, which allows gardaí to detain suspects for up to seven days for questioning.
The investigation is ongoing.

A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Range Of Drugs Seized During Arrest
A man has been arrested and a range of drugs seized during an operation in Dublin. During the course of the search, 2.5 kilo's of cocaine, 1 kilo of heroin and 14 ounces of crack cocaine were seized. Gardaí say the arrest and seizure were the result of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin.

A man has been arrested by gardaí after a significant drugs seizure with an estimated street value of €100,000. Officers stopped a car on the Grange Road in Rathfarnham on the afternoon of Saturday 06 April. Upon searching the vehicle they found cannabis worth around €5000. A man in his 40s was arrested and detained at Rathmines Garda Station.
