Four Arrested And Firearm Seized
Four men have been arrested and a firearm seized following a Garda search in the Crumlin area of Dublin.
Officers also recovered a telescopic sight and firearm component parts during the operation at Captain's Road in Crumlin, Dublin.
The search began yesterday afternoon and was carried out by Dublin Metropolitan Region detectives.
The men, who are aged in their late teens and early 20s, are being held at Crumlin, Sundrive Road and Terenure garda stations.
The investigation is ongoing.

A firearm has been seized and a man arrested in Crumlin, Dublin. According to gardaí, they were investigating reports of criminal damage at Rutland Grove when they witnessed a row break out between a number of men. The firearm was seized from one of the men involved in the row and he was subsequently arrested.

Pair Face Charges Over Weekend Shooting
Two people were in court today in Dublin facing charges related to a shooting incident at the weekend. The two males were initially detained in relation to the discharge of a firearm in Drimnagh on Saturday last and have now appeared in Court 46, The Bridewell, charged in connection with this incident.

A man and woman have been arrested following the discovery of drugs worth an estimated €135,000 in Dublin. As part of an intelligence led operation, Gardaí attached to Crumlin and Sundrive Garda Stations searched two properties in Crumlin and Drimnagh, Dublin 12 yesterday, Thursday 05 December.

An explosive device has been found under a car in Dublin yesterday. Officers at Sundrive Road and Crumlin Garda Stations were dispatched to Raleigh Square, Crumlin, in Dublin after a being alerted to a potential bomb. On arrival at the scene a device was discovered under a car parked outside a house in the area.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested in an operation targeting organised criminal gangs in the Crumlin area of Dublin. Gardaí from Sundrive Road Garda Station arrested the man on Tuesday, 12 July, shortly after 9pm when they stopped and searched a car and its occupant close to Old County Road and discovered a firearm and ammunition.
