Stolen Cash Box Recovered
A cash box stolen in an armed robbery in north Dublin on Thursday has been recovered, with the money still inside.
A man, now believed to have been armed with an imitation firearm, forced a security guard to hand over the box in Clare Hall yesterday morning.
No arrests have yet been made.

Gardaí are appealing for information following a cash-in-transit robbery in Dublin. The incident occurred at Cornmarket, Dublin 8, at approximately 5.20am when a lone male approached and threatened two security staff members as they delivered cash to an ATM outside a financial institution.

DFB Attend Two Dublin City Fires On Thursday Morning
Four units of the Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) were called to an apartment complex in Tallaght following reports of a fire at about 3am on Thursday. Eight people were evacuated from Greenhill Court Apartments, two residents had to be treated for smoke inhalation.

Irish Made Movie Tops Helsinki Awards
An Irish funded comedy movie has picked up four prizes at the Jussi Awards in Helsinki. Directed by Dome Karukoskj, the film - Lapland Odyssey, which will screen in the upcoming Jameson Dublin International Film Festival - won the Best Feature, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Audience Awards.

Two Arrested Following Cash In Transit Robbery
Garda investigating an armed robbery at Clare Hall Shopping Centre on the Malahide Rd in Dublin have arrested two men. It is thought that an armed man approached and threatened a cash-in-transit employee to hand over a cash box at 10.30am, before fleeing the scene in a waiting car.
