'Dr Death' Drug Dealer Refuses To Name Supplier

A man suspected of trafficking the drug mix traced to the death of two young graduates at the weekend has refused to identify the source of the shipment.

Gardaí say they are confident they have recovered the bulk of the consignment of the ecstasy variant known as “Dr. Death”, but are concerned that some small amounts still exist.

Last night they issued a fresh warning to potential users to avoid the brown crystalline substance, while also highlighting the extra danger of mixing drugs with alcohol.

They put particular emphasis on Junior Certificate students celebrating their exam results, and advised them to avoid offers of tablets or substances.

Dozens of raids have been carried out by gardai in Cork throughout the past few days.
