Five-Year-Old Injured By Pipe Bomb

A five-year-old boy has been injured after he picked up a pipe bomb outside his house in Co Wicklow.

The incident happened around 8:30am today and the child was taken to Crumlin Children's Hospital with injuries to his.

It is understood the object, which gardai described as a viable device, was left outside a property on Sycamore Drive in Newtownmountkennedy.

The area has been sealed off pending a technical examination and gardai have appealed for information.

Dublin Teenager Found 'Safe And Well'
A teenager who went missing from Dublin has been found "safe and well". Sean Costello, 15, went missing from Ballymun just after midnight on Sunday, 31 July. Gardai launched an appeal as they were concerned for his welfare. However, they have confirmed he has been found "safe and well". Gardai also thanked the public for their assistance.
