Fine Gael TD Welcomes Waterford Jobs

A Fine Gael TD has welcomed the announcement that 30 new jobs will be created in Waterford city by Rigney Dolphin, a Waterford company that employs over 1,000 people in Ireland.

The news comes on the back of Rigney Dolphin securing a new contract that will see them providing support services to the Cleveland Clinic in the US.

Waterford Deputy, Paudie Coffey, said it was a prime example of what services Irish firms can export and described the news as further proof that Irish companies can attain global standards in delivery and quality.

"I want to commend the workforce and management at Rigney Dolphin for all the hard work and effort they have put in to securing this contract which will deliver real jobs on the ground in Waterford city.

"This is further evidence that Waterford is a great place to do business and that the workforce here is capable of delivering global services. This Government is committed to job creation and creating the environment in which the private sector can flourish and get people back to work."
