Two Arrested Over Gerard Delaney Death
Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of Gerard Delaney in December.
Gardaí in Togher investigating the death of Mr Delaney said on Monday they have arrested two men in their late teens and early twenties.
They were arrested in the Togher area and are currently detained at Togher Garda Station under the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardaí investigating the death of a father of two, who died after a fight outside a pub in Cork city, identified a majority of the participants involved in the row using CCTV footage.
Detectives said that up to 25 people were involved in the fight outside the Manhattan Bar on Lower Friar’s Walk when Gerard Delaney was believed to be fatally assaulted.

Man Charged Over Death Of Gerard Delaney
A man has appeared in court charged with the death of Gerard Delaney on St Stephen's Day in 2011. 19-year-old Dean Crinnion of Blackwater Grove, Togher in Cork, was also charged with affray and with producing a knife during a fight. Mr Delaney died from multiple stab wounds and injuries to his head.
