Two Arrested Over Clonmel Body Discovery
Two people have been arrested over the discovery of a body at an apartment in Clonmel last week.
Gardaí, investigating the murder of Anthony Fallon in Clonmel after the discovery of his body at an apartment block at New Quay, Clonmel on January 18, said they have arrested two males.
The two men are in their 40s and were arrested in Clonmel on Monday morning and are being detained under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The discovery of the body was made at approximately 6.45am last Wednesday morning.
The scene was preserved and the services of the Garda Technical Bureau and the State Pathologist were requested.
A related scene was identified at an apartment on Abbey Street nearby. It is also being preserved.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact us at Clonmel on 052 6177640, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

67-Year-Old Man Arrested Over Rathmines Body Discovery
A 67-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a man's body in Rathmines, Dublin. Gardaí were called to a house at about 11:30pm in Summerville Park on Monday, 23 May. Upon arrival, garda discovered the body of an unresponsive male. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a woman's body at a house in Castlebar, Co Mayo. The man was arrested at 8am at Corha, Islandeady. Gardaí were called to a house, which is about 7km from Castlebar, at Derrycrieve, Islandeady, in the early hours of the morning.

Two Held Over Tipperary Shooting
Two people have been arrested following a shooting incident in Clonmel, County Tipperary last night. The man and woman were arrested after a man in his 30s was shot in the leg at a car park on New Quay near the Gashouse Bridge/Old Waterford Road area shortly after midnight.
