Serious Assault In South Dublin

Two people have been arrested in South Dublin in connection with a "serious assault" on Wednesday evening.

Gardai said they are investigating the circumstances of the incident, which took place at Uppercross Court, Old Blessington Road, Tallaght.

According to Gardaí, at approximately 8pm a 40-year-old male was taken by Ambulance to Tallaght Hospital with serious injures following an incident in an apartment at Uppercross Court.

The scene is preserved for a technical examination.

A man aged in his 40s and a woman aged in her 30s were arrested at the scene and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Tallaght Garda Station.

Teen Arrested Following Firearm Seizure
A 19-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí following the seizure of a firearm in Tallaght, Dublin. He was arrested on the Jobstown Road at approximately 12.40am on Tuesday morning. Gardaí were alerted after a man was seen holding a weapon. The male was chased on foot and gardaí disarmed and arrested him.

'Juvenile Male' Arrested In Connection With Death Of Adam Muldoon
Gardaí have arrested a "juvenile male" in connection with the death of 23-year-old Adam Muldoon. Mr Muldoon's body was discovered in Butler Park at Butler Park on the Cheeverstown Road in Tallaght shortly before 6.30am on Saturday 23 June.

Man Arrested Following Stabbing At Dublin Club
A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Kilakee, Dublin on Monday afternoon. It is understood an altercation broke out between three males and one female at about 3.45pm at the Hell Fire Club. One of the males was stabbed in the incident and another male, and the female, were assaulted.
