Ireland Tunes Into Family Fortunes

One of the longest running game shows on television, Family Fortunes, is finally coming to Ireland. Known in Japan and the US as Family Feud, Irish families can at last enjoy one of the most popular family TV shows, which will air exclusively on TV3.

Two family teams, each with five members, will go head-to-head to guess the results of surveys, in which 100 people were asked open ended questions. After several rounds of predicting the most popular answers to seemingly simple questions, one of the families will try their luck in Big Money and could walk away with a major cash prize.

And with answers made in haste TV audiences expect comedy gold as ordinary Irish people take the stage and entertain the nation.

Filmed in front of a live audience in The Helix in Dublin and with TV3's Alan Hughes as host, Family Fortunes promises to liven up our screens.

TV3 have commissioned Sideline Productions to manage the Irish version and are now seeking families to star in one of the most successful game shows in TV history.
