Garda Launch Donabate Murder Investigation

Gardaí in Swords investigating a shooting incident in Donabate County Dublin yesterday, have confirmed the death of a man.

Michael Taylor, 53, was shot at least twice in the head at Hand's Caravan Park in Donabate yesterday around 4.40pm. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he was described as being in a serious condition. He passed away at 9am this morning.

A car believed to have been used in the shooting was found burnt out at Turvey Woods, Donabate at 5pm.

The scene of the shooting at Hands Caravan Park and at Turvey Woods is currently sealed off pending a Garda forensic examination.

The two gunmen wore black and grey hoodies.

Investigating Gardaí are appealing to anyone who have witnessed this incident or who have information to contact the incident room at Swords Garda Station.

Teenager And Young Child Injured In Alleged Shooting In West Dublin
An investigation has been launched into an alleged shooting incident in West Dublin. According to reports, a teenager and a young child have been injured in an incident that gardaí have said is "ongoing" in the Parlickstown area of Blanchardstown. Two Men Arrested Over Dublin Shooting Incident
Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Dublin on Tuesday night. At approximately 11.30pm Gardai received a report of a firearm been discharged at a house on Inverness Road in Fairview. On arrival it was discovered that a shot had been fired at an upstairs bedroom window.
