Man Shot In Ronanstown
A man is recovering in hospital after being shot in the Ronanstown area of Dublin on Sunday night.
The 30-year-old man had just got out of a car onto the driveway of a house on Foxdene Park, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, when he was approached by a lone gunman and hit with a number of shots from a handgun.
According to reports this morning, the gunman fired five or six shots from a handgun and the victim was hit in the chest and neck.
He was taken to Tallaght Hospital where his condition is described as being serious. It's understood he underwent emergency surgery.
Gardaí at Ronanstown said they are investigating the shooting and the scene is being preserved at present while investigations are ongoing.
No arrests have yet been made.

A 32 year old man has been seriously injured after he was shot twice in a gun attack yesterday evening. He was hit in the chest and leg at Rowlagh Avenue in Clondalkin at around 5.30pm. The victim underwent surgery, however he is still in a serious condition.

Two Arrested In Connection With Dean Johnson Murder
Two men in their 20's have been arrested in connection with the murder of Dean Johnson in Dublin in August. Mr Johnson was shot dead at Neilstown Road, Clondalkin. A number of searches were carried out by gardai in Ronanstown, Clondalkin, Cabra and Kilock and two males were arrested.

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the possibility of a shooting in the city, after finding an injured man lying on the ground on Sunday night. Gardai at Store Street Garda Station suspect a shooting incident to have taken place at around 10.00pm at West Road, East Wall, Dublin. Gardai on patrol in the area came upon a man lying on the footpath.

Gardai Investigate After Man Is Shot
Gardai are carrying out an investigation after a man was shot in the leg and arm in Dublin. The incident occurred at around 6.30pm in Palmerstown Park in Ronanstown. The victim, 26, was taken to Connolly Hospital and his condition is not believed to be life threatening.

70-Year-Old Man Arrested Over Fatal Accident That Killed Cyclist
A 70-year-old man has been arrested by gardaí investigating a fatal road traffic accident in Gneeveguilla, Co Kerry. A cyclist was fatally injured when hit by a car in Scrahanfadda, on Sunday, 01 July. The elderly man is being detained at Bandon Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4- Criminal Justice Act 1984.
