Man Found Lying On Footpath May Have Been Shot: Gardaí
Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the possibility of a shooting in the city, after finding an injured man lying on the ground on Sunday night.
Gardai at Store Street Garda Station suspect a shooting incident to have taken place at around 10.00pm at West Road, East Wall, Dublin.
Gardai on patrol in the area came upon a man lying on the footpath. The man, who is in his early 20s and who is from the area, had injuried to his lower right leg.
He was taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital where his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Gardai are investigating the possibility that a handgun was used to shoot the man.
The area was sealed off for forensic examination by Garda Crime Scene Examiners.

A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Woman's Body Found At House In Co Meath
Gardaí in Co Meath have discovered the body of a woman at a house in Longwood. According to gardaí they discovered the woman's body at around 17:00 on Monday at a house in Edgeworth Court. An injured man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was also found at the scene and is being treated at Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.

Gardai Investigate After Man Is Shot
Gardai are carrying out an investigation after a man was shot in the leg and arm in Dublin. The incident occurred at around 6.30pm in Palmerstown Park in Ronanstown. The victim, 26, was taken to Connolly Hospital and his condition is not believed to be life threatening.

Second Arrest Made In Alan O'Neill Murder Investigation
Garda investigating the murder of Alan O'Neill in Tallaght in May this year have arrested a second man. A 21-year-old man was arrested in West Dublin on Tuesday evening and is currently detained at Tallaght Garda Station. It follows the arrest of a 23-year-old man in the Midlands area on Tuesday morning.

Man's Body Discovered In Limerick
An investigation has been launched after a man's body was discovered in Limerick. The body was found at the back of a house in the Brierfield area, Castletroy, on Friday afternoon. The man is believed to be in his 30s. A Polish man living in Limerick was reported missing on Thursday, however it has not been established if it is his body.
