Two Arrested Over Meath Drug Find
Two males, one in his 20s and one in his 40s have been arrested in Meath after thousands of Euro worth of cannabis was found.
Gardai from the Meath Divisional Drug Unit assisted by local gardai have seized cannabis plants, herb and made the two arrests after a planned search of a house in the Ashbourne area at approximately 1pm yesterday.
Gardai investigating the cultivation and supply of cannabis in the Meath and Dublin Metropolitan Region West Divisions seized the large quantity of cannabis plants and a quantity of cannabis herb with a combined potential street value of up to €200,000, subject to analysis. Cultivation equipment was also found.
The two males were arrested at the scene and are currently detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act 1996 at Kells Garda Station.

Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Cannabis Seized During Raid In Wexford
Gardai have seized herbal cannabis following a raid on a house in Wexford. It is estimated to have a street value of €45,000. A number of plants were found during the search of a property in Lee Heights on Thursday. No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.

Gardaí in Co Meath have recovered drugs worth an estimated €700,000 during a search in Rathkenny on Thursday afternoon. Three men aged 31, 35 and 44, were arrested in connection with the find.

Around €1m worth of drugs were seized as part of a planned Garda Operation in Longford and South Roscommon. Four people have been arrested in connection in what is believed to be nearly 2,000 cannabis plants. A man in his 20's was arrested after around 800 cannabis plants were seized at a growhouse in the South Roscommon area.
